Russian stand-up comedian Alexander Chaliapin, who spoke at TNT, before his death refused to continue treatment in the clinic. According to Moskovsky Komsomolets, citing a source, in addition to alcoholism, he suffered from an unstable mental state.
The comedian was treated at a medical facility in Belgorod, where friends and family sent him, says the source of the publication. According to him, after the first stage of rehabilitation, the second was envisaged – Chaliapin had to attend special classes and, together with other patients, learn to live soberly.
“He flatly refused. He was drawn to the capital. Although colleagues and his wife insisted that he be treated to the end, “- explained the source of the newspaper. As a result, Chaliapin left for Moscow without completing his rehabilitation.
According to Moskovsky Komsomolets, Chaliapin suffered from insomnia and tried to find various diseases in himself, although he was healthy. “This is an unstable mental state. It seems calm, everything is fine, but at some moments there were outbreaks, ”- said the source.
Chaliapin, 41, was found dead in his apartment in Moscow. The body was found by his wife. According to the preliminary version, he committed suicide. The director of the comedian Maria Malyakina said that the artist was depressed and was also being treated for alcoholism.
