Polish Health Minister Adam Nedzelski said that the country recorded the first serious complication in a patient who received the COVID-19 vaccine. RIA Novosti writes about it.
According to Nedzelski, 37 side effects were recorded after vaccination: 32 of them were mild, four were of moderate severity, and in one case, severe symptoms were observed. Details on the nature of the adverse reaction were not reported. Moreover, more than 257 thousand people have already been vaccinated in the country.
Every Polish citizen who has experienced adverse reactions after vaccination against coronavirus can receive compensation through a specially created fund by submitting an application to an authorized person. Previously, this could only be done through the courts.
There are currently several COVID-19 vaccines in the world. So, in Russia two vaccines are registered: “Sputnik V” and “EpiVacCorona”. On December 5, 2020, vaccination against coronavirus with Sputnik V started in Moscow. In the United States and Great Britain, the population began to be inoculated with the drug from Pfizer / BioNTech.
