Today, October 18, the second day after the terrorist attack that shook the country, Interior Minister Gerard Darmanen gathered for a videoconference prefects and demanded to intensify the expulsion of 231 people, “unwanted foreigners” on the so-called S list and suspected of radical Islamism. Reported by Europe 1.
For the time being, candidates for expulsion have been selected only among illegal immigrants staying in French territory without documents and with no hope of ever getting them. 180 people are in jail, 51 more are to be detained in the near future.
Recall, on October 16, in the city of Conflans-Saint-Honorine, west of Paris, a young man chopped off the head of a school history teacher and posted a photo of the murder on a social network, accompanied by threats to the “infidels.” The assailant was shot dead during the arrest. French President Emmanuel Macron recognized the murder as a terrorist act. The attacker turned out to be an 18-year-old Chechen, a native of Moscow named Abdulakhan Anzorov. According to the investigation, he wanted to punish the teacher for showing his students Charlie Hebdo cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. As part of the investigation, nine people were detained.
About the murder – in the material of “Kommersant” “The Chechen decided to teach a lesson to the Republic.”
