In Crimea, a concrete slab fell on three schoolchildren. As a result, one of the teenagers died, according to the website of the Crimean Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee.
The tragedy occurred on the afternoon of January 24 in the village of Orlovka near Sevastopol. The schoolchildren were in an abandoned unfinished building not far from residential buildings. As a result of the collapse, two teenagers were injured and were hospitalized. Their 15-year-old friend died on the spot.
A criminal case was initiated on the fact of the negligence of officials, which led to the death of a minor (part 2 of article 293 of the Criminal Code of Russia). Investigators and law enforcement officers establish the causes and circumstances of the tragedy, as well as the institution in charge of the unfinished object.
