Paris, 23 October 2020, 18:20 – REGNUM At a jury trial in the case of aiding terrorists who attacked the editorial board of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in January 2015, suspected of collaborating with IS (an organization whose activities are banned in Russia) called on cartoonists from the magazine “Go on with your business.”

According to Le Figaro, Sonia M., who recently returned from Syria, where she is suspected of working for IS (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation), said during the court hearing that “the continuation of the Charlie Hebdo case is important” as “Freedom in IS (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation) hate most of all.”

Recall that on October 21, employees of the French magazine Nouvelle République became victims of threats on social networks after the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, the authors of which are artists from the infamous Charlie Hebdo magazine.
