A YouTube movie about the “palace” in the Gelendzhik area was watched for at least a few seconds in the first nine days, according to Mediascope estimates, 21.2 million Russians over 12 years old
Research company Mediascope evaluated the audience for the film “Palace for Putin”, created by Alexei Navalny and the Anti-Corruption Foundation (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as an organization performing the functions of a foreign agent) and published on January 19 on the YouTube platform.
In the first nine days, from January 19 to January 27, the audience of the film was, according to Mediascope, 21.2 million Russians over 12 years old, or 17% of the country’s population. This estimate, the meter clarifies, does not take into account the duration of contact: both those who watched the entire movie and those who turned it on for a few seconds are counted. For example, it could be the automatic launch of the next video on YouTube.
More than 30 seconds the film was watched by 15 million Russians over 12 years old, which corresponds to 12% of the population, more than two minutes – 11.6 million, or 10% of the population. The entire film, which lasts almost two hours, was watched to the end by 3.4 million people, or 3% of the population.
The majority of viewers of the film – 60% – are in large cities, including 20% in Moscow, Mediascope notes. More than half of all viewers watched it from the screen of a mobile phone or tablet.
