US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi signed an indictment as part of the impeachment proceedings against incumbent President Donald Trump. The ceremony was broadcast on the speaker’s Twitter page.

Pelosi said the House of Representatives has demonstrated that no one is above the law, including the President of the United States. Pelosi also noted that Donald Trump poses a “clear and urgent danger” to the country.

On January 13, the US House of Representatives voted to pass a resolution to impeach incumbent US President Donald Trump.

According to the results of the vote, 232 people voted to impeach Trump. 197 congressmen opposed. Thus, Donald Trump became the first ever US president to be impeached twice. In the near future, the document will be submitted to the Senate.

In an address to the nation, US President Donald Trump denied the involvement of his supporters in the storming of the Capitol, which arose on January 6 at a time when senators were planning to approve the results of the electoral vote. Then Trump’s supporters staged a brawl with the police and broke into the Capitol building, disrupting the meetings of the US Congress. The clashes killed four people, as well as one policeman.
