Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted that after leaving the post of head of state, he could take up winemaking. He spoke about this during a meeting with students, answering a question about Alexei Navalny’s investigation about the palace near Gelendzhik, the event is broadcast by RBC.
During the meeting, the students asked him how he felt about what was shown in the film. Putin said that “nothing of what is indicated there as my property, neither me, nor my close relatives belongs and never did”
According to the president, “out of everything I saw there, I became interested in only one, not business, not as a business, but as a type of activity – this is winemaking”. “This is a very good activity, noble one. Not as a business, as a kind of activity, I would ever do this, ”he said.
“I have an advisor – Boris Titov, who is the owner of Abrau-Dyurso, our large company with a good background. He’s my advisor now. When I finish the work, maybe I will go to work as an advisor to him. But not as a businessman, but as a specialist – at least in the field of law, ”Putin said.
According to the president, he was “never interested in business” because it “was not at all his.” At the same time, Putin noted that he considers entrepreneurial activity to be a noble occupation from the social side: thanks to business, among other things, jobs are created and the economy develops.
