In Yekaterinburg, traffic police officers staged a pursuit with shooting, trying to detain a drunk driver. Reported by Znak.
According to the newspaper, the violator was a contract soldier. Before getting behind the wheel, he drank two liters of beer. The police ordered the soldier to stop, but he ignored the request of the traffic police.
Four patrol cars tried to stop the intruder. As the head of the press service of the regional police chief Valery Gorelykh noted, trying to get away from the chase, the driver created a real threat both for himself and for other road users.
The police used service weapons, but they managed to detain the soldier only when he himself stopped the car in one of the residential yards.
