Indian military man Satyanarayan Paliwal has been arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan. According to the investigation, the 42-year-old man revealed a state secret in exchange for photographs of naked women, writes India Today.
Palival is accused of giving the Pakistani secret services data on the movement of the Indian army. Pakistani inter-agency intelligence officers managed to get the Indian to talk by talking to him on behalf of the girls. They shared nude photographs with the man, and in return asked him for secret information.
During interrogation, Palival admitted that he had betrayed his country because of his “greed for nude photographs”: he sent confidential data in order to get as many erotic pictures and frank conversations from interlocutors as possible.
The defendant also said that he contacted strangers through a fake social media account. He used this account to send sensitive information across the border. Local law enforcement agencies did not say where the Indian got access to the state secret.
