US President Donald Trump, who has recovered from COVID-19, is no longer contagious. This was stated by his personal physician Sean Conley, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the physician, the latest PCR test showed that the head of the White House no longer poses the risk of transmitting the virus to others and can stop self-isolation.
On October 10, Trump held the first public event after being infected with the coronavirus. A massive meeting with supporters took place on the South Lawn of the White House, while the head of state was without a mask.
Earlier, the American leader said that during the illness caused by the coronavirus, he did not feel the way the US president should feel. Trump added that he underwent a tomography, as there were suspicions of inflammation in the lung, but they were not confirmed.
Trump’s infection with the coronavirus became known on the morning of October 2. His wife Melania Trump also tested positive for coronavirus. A few days later, the president was found to have antibodies to the infection.
